I don’t go to many open mic events in my area. Not as many as I would like to or should. There are a few reasons for this. Some are rather circumstantial, i.e. I can’t afford the cover or the bus to the location. At other times I don’t go because I’m not feeling “it” or bad weather (including temp). It’s beyond the holiday its the notion and stigma that carries with it…Yet again a classic Man made “holiday” but who reaps the benefits?
